CD Cover Artwork

Rules:
1. All you have to do is to make a custom single cover that will represent the songs included in the CD.

2. Size is 1425px X 1425px (please include ample size for the bleed).

3. You need to create a front cover and a back cover with the back having the track list.

How to join:
1. Submit your artwork to zuradio.collab@gmail.com with the subject: SUBMISSION: ARTWORK

2. You have until November 20, 2013 to submit your work. (Of course, you may only start submitting after the songs are chosen.. that’s about a month, honestly.)

3. The artwork that will be used will be chosen through a week of voting.

UVERworld Song Cover Collab

Rules:
1. You can do either a COVER SONG or an ORIGINAL SONG. If it is a cover song, it must be an UVERworld song; however, it may be translated to English or your own language. If it is an original song, it must be related to UVERworld.

2. All songs must have an accompanying instrument. Bands are also allowed. (Note: If you can’t play an instrument, you may collaborate with other UW fans who can play an instrument.) The use of synth and other pre-made background music is not allowed.

3. One entry per person is allowed. (i.e., if in case you were recruited by two persons, choose only one. I’m being mean.. keke)

4. Songs must be from 3 minutes to 6 minutes only. (Some UW songs are pretty long, so choose wisely.)

How to join:
1. By the end of June, you must be able to send an email to zuradio.collab@gmail.com that you are joining. (So that we will have an idea how many people are going to join.)

2. You have until October 15, 2013 to submit your covers/songs. Email your entries to zuradio.collab@gmail.com with the Subject: SUBMISSION: (title of your song [COVER/ORIGINAL]). Email the names of the people who was part of the song. And, if it’s an original song, submit the lyrics, too.

Perks:
1. Chosen songs will be compiled in a CD, and it will then be sent to UW (preferably this December during their concert). Songs will be chosen through voting. Voting will last for one week.

2. If I reaaaaally liked your song/cover, I might send you a special prize. (/cross your fingers)

UVERworld is one of the two artist preforming in the Inazuma Rock Festival 2013. Inazuma is one of the big festivals celebrated every year. The last time UVERworld preform in Inazuma was in 2010.

The festival is organize by Takanori Nishikawa, because he has self-proclaimed the ambassador of the Shiga prefecture, so since 2009 he has made this two day festival.

UVERworld 2013 anniversaries (UVERworld birthday and major debut) project aka Spazz UVERworld for world tour project because we need to drag them out of Japan.

my friend and i came up with this little project to celebrate UVERworld   2013 anniversary. So, basically all we have to do is make your own postcard (as many as you like because we want to spam them with it. seriously). handmade that is. no printed material please (we need to show them our efforts on this). draw/paint you own country flag on thick paper (dimension as shown in picture) with “UVERworld COME TO…..(insert you country’s name)” (see example) and write “UVERworld around the WORLD” as our project signature on top right side of it. Fonts use for writing is solely up to your own creativity.

on the other side of the postcard, you can write messages to the boys. whatever you want to write, really. but remember to save some space for address. yes! you guys are sending the postcards for UVERworld. (that’s why we named it Spazz UVERworld for world tour at first). you are very much welcome send as many postcards as you want!!

The postcards should arrive to UVERworld around June and July (because their anniversaries are in June and July). so, depending on how long it take to send it from country to Japan, you can estimate when you should send the postcards.(Malaysia for example, it usually take 3weeks to arrive in Japan. so i should be sending mine latest by mid June)

posting cost: depend on you country. but i dont think its going to be expensive for postcard

Today (or yesterday, depending on your time zone) in Zepp Driver City UVERworld closed the Zepp tour with a King’s Parade, that had an special t-shirt. If you look around twitter you can see a lot of guys with pics with this shirt, and it because of this live.

King’s parades (or Queen’s Parade) are UVERworld Lives in small venues, where they invite fans form one sex, and do the set list around that special target. King’s parade are usually more rock and “heavy” songs while Queen’s Parades are more balads and “soft” songs.

You can see all the Zepp locations around Japan, they are small venues with a maximum of 3000 people (if I remember correctly) so is more “intimate” and more like a “livehouse” feeling than in big venues.

If you recognize this poster then you saw the post about THE SONG, a documentary of UVERworld’s trajectory. There been rumours about the DVD release. According to web pages like CDjapan and PlayaAsiathe launch was suppose to be on the 10th of April; but D-san yesterday confirm that the release date is on the 17th of April. We don’t have the art for the DVD yet, but we can assume is based on the poster for the Japanese Theatres.

D-san has been neglecting the overseas fans, just a little, but they’re making it up, THE SONG is going to have subtitles in english, so don’t worry you’ll understand everything they say. They also say that there’s going to be a translation on part of the lyrics. The DVD is going to have RE and LE, the LE has a second disc with special features. It has special footage; like what was UVER’s reaction when they saw the movie in a special screening with the director, and apparently the director got a little mad in the filming and you can see that reaction in the LE. Unfortunately the LE wont have subtitles, but we can hope to get some funny images from it.
