Awaited 13th Single [GO-ON]
Finally it is here, the official site has just announced their 13th single title to be [GO-ON].
I was actually browsing CDJapan to check on any update and i happen to see it and then refresh the uverworld official site to see the news.
It seems to be non-tieup single but it is their 1st single for the year 2009 so lets be happy =3.
Release date is August 5th 2009, and this title sounds like moving on from their 4th year major debut.

A mixed-up...
I have some bad news for you guys....
It looks like UVERworld won't be doing the opening of Otoman after all. It will be Kou Shibasaki who will be doing the opening for it. There was a mixed-up, I can't explain further, however this is neither Kou's or UVERworld's fault. Also this is just a coincidence; this has nothing to do between Kou and Takuya. Apologize for this disappointment.
Will keep you updated for the new single though! :D Such a huge gap this year!

New single for a New Drama!  May I say it's about time? Large gap between their album and single. Wow. But oh well, the long wait is worth it and now I can proudly announce their first single of 2009....
Well not properly since their title and tracklisting is TBA, but here is some info:
The Untitled Single will be the opening for the new drama: Otomen. (Original writing (manga): Otomen by Kanno Aya)
The story centers around the popular high school boy Masamune Asuka, the top kendo fighter in the nation. However, beneath his cool exterior, he is actually fond of sweets and shojo manga, and is skilled in sewing and cooking. When he instantly falls for the transfer student Miyakozuka Ryo, his secret is in danger of being exposed.
Actors/Actresses will include Okada Masaki, Kaho, Kimura Ryo, Sano Kazuma, Seto Koji (OMG) and more!
There will be a Limited Edition and a Regular Edition. The Single will be release: Jul 29, 2009. You can pre-order your single at play-asia.com
